Banquet & Fundraiser A Success!
We would like to thank you all for coming out to this year’s banquet on Saturday, March 6th, 2010 to support our chapter. Our attendance was slightly lower than past years, but we still managed to compete with the amount raised in previous banquets. We had some great new attractions this year - the Safari Video Game competition, the Turkey Pluck, and the Sneak Boat Raffle. We also had the ever popular Basket of Cheer, Big 10 and Gold Medal Raffles. Mark Morton won the Grand Prize in the Gold Medal Raffle - a 58” Plasma HDTV - Congratulations, Mark!! As always, the Grand Buffet was wonderful, with several entrees to choose from, including beef and turkey carving stations. Our Guest Speaker, Sam Rohrer, had an inspiring message for us on the state of the Commonwealth of Pa. There was a wide variety of Live and Silent auction items to satisfy the shopper in all of us. It was a great evening!
Your support helps to fund the numerous youth and conservation projects we have throughout the year. We appreciate your generous donations. We would also like to thank all those who helped make the banquet a success. Our banquet committee, as well as the Board of Directors and youth helpers worked very hard to make sure everything was running smoothly throughout the day. We couldn’t have done it without them!
